Mary Phillips High School "General Information"
Mary E. Phillips High school extends its invitation to education to any Wake County High School student who has not reached his or her potential within a traditional school setting. Our philosophical approach and curriculum offers students the opportunity to obtain a high school diploma and a new view of themselves as capable, competent young people.
Phillips is best known for its small class size (15:1).
Phillips is the first WCPSS school to a implement block scheduling format.
MEPHS is the first WCPSS school to implement a structured dress code.
MEPHS has a four star licensed 10 bed day care for student parents. The child care center serves as an educational tool for students interested in pursuing a career in educating and caring for young children.
MEPHS has a flexible schedule that allows students to attend day or evening classes, depending upon their circumstances.
